Tabiti Solutions SAS, is an Engineering company mainly comprising two divisions within it, the Computer Engineering Division and the Civil Engineering Division.

The company is a consultancy firm that offers multidisciplinary consultancy services in both fields based on a combined South African experience of over 45 years. This section describes the activities of the civil engineering division which includes the following three services: geotechnics, calculation of building structures and engineering structures and project management.

General Manager

K K Kabeya is the co-founder of the company Tabiti Solutions SAS. His area of interest and expertise is the design and construction of civil engineering infrastructure in general, particularly geotechnics, tailings management and rock mechanics. Kany was responsible for the geotechnical quality control of the boiler foundations at the Eskom Kusile Power Plant (4,800 MGW in South Africa), the 2nd largest coal-fired power plant project ever built in the world. Prior to Eskom, he worked at AURECON South Africa as a senior geotechnical engineer and associate. He also worked as an Assistant Technical Director specializing in geotechnical engineering for Fraser Alexander where he designed, built and managed over 50 tailings dam complexes for local and international clients.

While working for Protekon - Transnet, he managed the geotechnical services within his design office. He worked for two years in Malawi with a European company on road projects as deputy site manager. For seven years, Kany worked at the Scientific and Industrial Research Center (CSIR) division Ematek and Miningtek respectively as researcher and project manager. He started his professional career working for three years for a building construction company as a junior construction engineer in the DRC. Kany is a civil engineer in civil engineering option (1988) from the University of Kinshasa (DRC).

He received his doctorate in geotechnical engineering (rock mechanics) in 2002 from Rand Afrikaans University, known today as the University of Johannesburg UJ (South Africa). He is a member of several professional engineering bodies such as the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), the South African Institute of Construction Engineers (SAICE) and the South African Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Rocks (SANIRE). Dr K K Kabeya is a member of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics (SIMSG), the largest professional organization in the world.
